Datum Tambour Door Systems (Sliding Door)

The Datum Tambour Door (Sliding Door) System is designed to be used in conjunction with (MOST) existing "open-shelving" and is a more affordable solution than purchasing new shelving.

• The Tambour Door can be used with Datum ThinStak, 4Post, and Vu-Stak shelving to help meet privacy standards of HIPAA legislation
• The Tambour Door is available in widths of 24", 30", 36", 42" and 48" wide shelving.
• Each side mounting rail is a one piece construction and attaches to the shelving unit with brackets and screws, not double face tape.
• The Tambour Door mounts on the front of the unit, not the side so mounting the Tambour Door does not require each shelf to be unloaded and moved.
• A built-in handle located approximately waist high allows for easy opening and closing of the door.
• Simply use the pre-punched holes on Datum's ThinStak, Vu-Stak and 4Post shelving to attached the TambourDoor housing unit.
• If applying the Datum Tambour Door to non Datum brand shelving, drilling holes for screws will be required to attached the door system to the top of the shelf and to attach the slide rails to the front of the shelf. This is easier than it appears and a good handy man can have a door installed in a jiffy.
