A Drafting Table Designed to enhance any working environment

The ALVIN "ensign" drafting table is well designed, light weight, and space sensitive. By creating a two post support frame instead of the more traditional four posts table, the Ensign becomes much more flexible and adaptive, without sacrificing strength or style.

The base of the drafting table is made from heavy-gauge steel, not flimsy sheet metal used in lower quality tables. A black enamel finish covers the steel welds to create a simple, black enamel finish. As with all ALVIN drafting tables, all metal parts in the Ensign table are electro-powder coated to prevent any scratching and flaking of the finish.

The drafting table top is a large no-stain, 31" by 42" board. Thanks to the unique dual-pedestal design of the table, it is capable of rotating from a horizontal position, to a full 90 degree upright position. The height of the table adjusts as well from 35" to 47". Both the height and the angle adjusters on this drafting table are balanced using traction springs, making it possible to adjust the writing surface of the drafting table with only one hand!

The total weight of the drawing table is 97 lbs. Also available on furniture-online is the same table with a 48" x 26" board.
